Ibiza Town Electric Scooter Tour
Would you like to explore the capital of Ibiza in a fun way? On this tour we'll ride an electric scooter through the old town of Ibiza, a city declared a World Heritage Site.
Ibiza Town Electric Scooter Tour
We'll start this tour through the historic centre of Ibiza town by meeting at 5 pm in Park Square, where we'll go over how to ride the electric scooters.
This town, one of the 15 Spanish cities declared a World Heritage Site, is home to a picturesque old town full of beautiful typical whitewashed houses and buildings. We'll first go up to Dalt Vila, the upper part of the historic centre, to admire its walls.
Then we'll continue the scooter tour down to the lower part of Ibiza Town. There we'll pass in front of an iconic building from 1872. This is the Old Market, a popular market square built in the form of a Greek temple.
The route continues to Ibiza's old port, where we stop in front of the Monument to the Corsairs, a tribute by the people of Ibiza to the corsairs who risked their lives so often in defence of the local population. We'll find out what pirates have to do with this monument before continuing on to the Botafoc lighthouse.
Finally, at 7 pm we'll conclude this electric scooter ride under the Vara de Rey Monument.
